I have an 07 rtx and I was wondering what is the best way to change the slides without droping the skid, I did cut out the windows, but it was a pain in the but to get the slides of so I aborted the mission. Does anyone have any good ideas?

Did you loosen the track as loose as it can go?

Put oversize wheels in your suspension and you will not have to deal with changing slides as often.

Since you have already cut open a window for the hyfax to fit through, get about 1" of the hyfax through the window. Get the track off the ground, start it, put it into reverse and give a little throttle. It will peel the hyfax right off.

Put some vaseline on the inside groove of the new slides before you put them back on then the next time you will be able to pull them off with one hand. Peeling them off with the track works great too. I didn't cut my track windows, I just use some lube (vaseline) and force the slides through.
