2006 apex rtx
I have a 2006 apex rtx and have decided to change the color scheme of my sled to black and white.
I want to get rid or the red windshield. i was thinking about having it painted white but i am concerned about durability with the flexing and all that.
i also was thinking about having a local sign company wrap it in white vinyl like they use for the sign lettering bit i am not sure that would look good.
A Black windshield is my absolute last option
anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

Buy a new one... lol.... no really, i am not sure that the paint would look right on the outside of it. If you had a clear windy, you can paint the inside with good quality krylon and it holds up nice and looks great, because the windy protects it, the paint on the outside, I just dont know how it would hold up with the flexing.
snostuff makes a neat looking low windy that could be painted any color easily, its a harder plastic, comes flat or glossy black.... the other thing is watch the classifieds, you may find one that somebody replaced or did a color swap in a different direction.....
the vinyl wrap would work too, i would have them do it, that way you dont have to worry b out the bubbles..... good luck!!!

Yeah, like blue said, I think buying a clear one and painting the inside would be the way to go.

thanks for the replys guys
I wanted to stick with the stock style low windshield. unfotyunately it is not offered in clear.
I know it is cold but i love the look of it.
the more i think about it the more i think i might go with wrapping it in vinyl
