I have started the sled several times in the passed couple months with no problems however when I went to pull it in the garage today to do some maitnence I have no power when i turn the key on the dash or to the starter. Checked fuses and battery and everything was ok. Any help?

Its an 05 rx-1

I wouldn't trust anyone who says they've never pulled that one.
Just sayin'.

Any resolve to your issue?

You checked the ignition fuse located in the small box just above the chain case, correct? I know from experience that the sled will appear to be completely dead if this fuse pops, even if the fuse down on the starter solenoid is good.

I just went through a similar issue again yesterday morning with my Warrior...no power! Fuses were good and the battery showed 12 volts, but nothing. I connected a battery from my lawn mower and she fired up, so the battery is junk! I'm guessing one or more cells inside are toast, but enough to show voltage on a meter.

I never did understand how a battery can die sitting on a shelf all summer, but they do some how?

A battery sitting on the shelf can allow the plates in the cells to build up with sulfate causing them to become inefficient. Using a good battery maintainer over the sitting period will keep the plates clean.

I use Optimate 5 chargers on all my off-season batteries every couple of months during storage. The charger showed it being charged, but it wasn't.

Don't know the specs of the Optimate 5 but the maintainer that I use specs it has a de sulphating stage. Must work as I have had the same battery for 5 years now.
