I am picking up my new sled Tuesday.
I bought the Apex ER and got the big boy spring, pilot 5.7 skis, 96 studs, mirrors. I didn't know that my rca plug for the helmut won't hook up directly so I'll get an adapter plug. I was thinking about getting a tall windshield but they still have that ugly metal support, so I'll just have to make due with the medium. I'll ask about the antifreeze but I run in canada and it can go to minus 40 and I don't want to freeze up.
I sure hope this sled is more reliable than Ski-Doo, that is why I switched.
I also got the 5 year extended warranty. Can't wait for SNOW!!

Well...I just spent some money on some the items on my checklist. I talked to Kevin(great guy by the way) at Port Yamaha who helped me out.
-I went with the Big Boy Spring(6.5) and will set the C-clip in the #2 position to start.
-Added the 4-year warranty.
-I also chose(after long debate) to get the 8" woodys doolies and give them a try for a while at least. At this point(building a house...can't break the bank...wifes gonna kick my butt already) I couldnt see dishing out another $400-$500 for ski's since I still need to add 48 more studs to my 96 I have on there now.
-I also got the Heated shield plug in kit.
That should do it for now. I just need to have that handwarmer update kick in and take it to the dealership and have the remaining studs and new spring put on. I can smell the snow in the air...its coming soon!!! Thanks everyone for your help/advice/input on the matter.
