Yes I bought one last year, works quite well and the fit is good too. The seal on the electrical shield failed a bit and allowed some moisture in between the lenses. I ended up putting a dab of silicone where the electrical connections are made on the shield and it seems to have worked, no more condensation.
The sun shield is orange, not gray like in the pics I've seen, and works well on sunny days. However once you retract the sun shade and ride for a while and try to use the shade again, it's pretty useless, as condensation forms on the shade while it's retracted.
I had a GMAX46 helmet a couple of years ago (I returned it) and it was terrible as it leaked air, blowing right into my eyes and cheeks. This CKX is good at keeping the air from seeping in and freezing your skin.
I do wish it had more exhaust vents though, maybe it would keep the sun shade free of moisture when retracted, but who knows. Definitely worth the price and doesn't create a claustrophobic feeling like the high end Skidoo helmets that I've looked at.

I bought one this year, although it does not have the heated shield. I have used it on my three rides thus far.
Nice fit, good visibility and no problems with fogging up. A couple of times a small fog patch started showing near the top of the lens, but I just raise the visor one notch and within a minute the visor is clear again.
I noticed the sun shade has condensation when I put it down as well. Gotta stop and clean it off each time before use. Wouldn't happen if it was down all the time.
The foam seal around the nose piece came off after the second ride, but I used a fabric adhesive to glue it back on. Haven't tried it again with the glue.
The chin fabric piece gets very wet as well. No problem, as it doesn't touch the skin anyway.
This is my first modular helmet, and with the few little quirks I have found so far they are not a big deal. I like it.

I have this helmet and got the smoke sun visor instead of the yellow. I got an electric shield but the wires aren't labeled pos or neg. Does it matter how you hook it up? How can I find out which is which?

I purchased one of these last season and really like it. Had a Zox helmet year before and it was junk. My electric shield is giving me some trouble right now but the new ones are being recalled due to a connector problem.
My distributor said this should be rectified soon and the new ones will be out shortly.

Re: helmet
Are you saying that there is a recall on the CKX electric visor? If so, how did you find out about it?
