Cleaning primary with an ultra sonic cleaner

Has anyone used an ultrasonic cleaner to soak and clean their primary clutches? I am not sure what it would do to the bushings,or specifically the coating on the bushings. I am thinking of trying this method to get all the old buildup of dust and grime out of the hard to get at nooks.The weights and rollers will be removed before I do this, but I'm on the fence if I should go the extra mile and pop out the cover and sliding sheave bushing.

Cant see why simple green or purple power wouldnt work for you, have used both in my ultra sonic cleaner for cleaning plastic carb parts, gun casing's, other delicate parts.
