I just put a powerclaw 2.25 on my 2014 XTX SE, Im runnning chassis on the bottom hole on the front and middle hole in the rear. It looks to have enough clearance from the tunnel protectors, the 2015 XTX LE model has the same track but im guessing it doesnt have tunnel protectors? Does anyone have any experience with this?

I did the same to fit my 1.75 track. I dont want to take the tunnel stiffeners out.
They are not stiffeners they are for guys running studs. M8 does not have them.

Did you have to do any adjustments to your sled with having the 2.25 track on your XTX? Im just curious cause i was think of doing the same thing and was wondering how much it would cost?

I will will have the factory 2.25 on the LE when it arrives, I can compare to the SE XTX. I was guessing the chassis is set up the same other then the track lug being different??? can take some picture once its here.

Even in the parts fiche it is called a frame protector. Its not a frame stiffener it protects the frame from studs. No studs = not needed. What if I put the sled over backwards? Without protectors it bends the tunnel extension which is less than 150 bucks. With tunnel protectors look at the wreck listed in previous posts...lol.

I have minor rubbing on the first 4-6 inches of the tunnel protectors with my 2.25 powerclaw and then nothing from there out. I would rather my track touch the protectors every once and a while and not the exhaust...

Just took the viper out for a quick spin (finally got some snow) i didn't hear any rubbing or show any marks on the track that i could tell. once the snow melts i will look at the tunnel protectors.
The only thing i did was install the track and put the chassis on the bottom hole in the front and the middle hole in the rear.

You can't touch the exhaust with a 2.25 unless the track is sloppy loose. I have a 3.0 on my Viper, girlfriends sled ran 2.25 powerclaw all last year and nowhere near the exhaust.
