Ulmer, and I'm CDN.

clutch kit usually slow down your top end....I know ulmers greatly enhances the bottom and mid, but looses some top end.

I had the Sledwerx kit. I couldn't get it to pull the proper RPM. Search in the Engine and Clutching section. Other guys had the same issue.

Cant speak about the actual product but customer service will be MUCH better from Ulmer's!

Speedwerx kit did not work for me, got no help when I emailed him that the kit didn't deliver and asking what to do, he just replied with alot of satisfied customer posts, useless!

All they have in mind is $$$. They will never give money back just give you a 'in house credit'. Anyway I usually don't bash companies but my first and only trasaction was not a pleasant one. I could go on and on with the details but just do yourself a favor get the Ulmer kit.

I've tried alot of different kits Ulmers two speeds DnF weights and as I said a couple years ago now if I had to do it all over again Ulmers hands down just knowing the knowledge is there and only a phone call away is worth its weight in gold as far as I'm concerned. I also like the stock like engagement and the kit plain out rocks. All others are just imitators IMHO. Also when I got my new Apex Allen was glad to set me up with a setup to start out with no questions asked. And the kit will be spot on or damn near close to it I bet when I finally get to ride. Only thing Allen didn't help me out with when I asked was Send me some snow.....wait a second maybe he did come thru parts of Maine got hammered and are already grooming so hey Allen came thru on that request too.

ulmers kit is as close to a plug and play clutch kit as you can get, put my stage 2 in and have never had to play with the weights, pretty much spot on as delivered

Ulmer makes great products, and has super customer service. I have always been happy with mine. ;)!

Maybe the Vectors are different as I was told to expect a 1 to 2 mph gain on the top end?

Doesn't really matter to me as I am not a lake racer, but that's what I was told.

Ya Irv, wouldn't go with the "as I was told" because I was looking on flea bay & Fix powersports claims that their air lid mod would gain "10-15 mph" top end!!!!!!! Hahahaha. When I first seen this I sent a message asking if he would refund the money if I didn't see the minimum 10 mph increase.....you guessed it, NO response! He still has the same listing on E-bay! You could be right on this one though because some clutch kits must allow more shift out.
