clutch cleaning?

I'm just curious on what maintence cleaning or tips you guys may have for cleaning the clutch. I have a buddy that polishes, but I'd think that make the clutch belt slip. Personaly I use mild soap and water. Thanks

mild soap, very HOT water, then I scuff the inside of the sheaves with a scotch-bright pad, then lightly wash again

X2...use BOILING water, I use SPRAY NINE/SIMPLE GREEN as cleaner...
