Ya they are. Different profile though. Dalton weights are more aggressive

Depends what u r doing. If u keep it stock they are perfect. If you are going to flash your sled later well then yes be expensive. The qay70 might work but not really sure.

Ok gotcha! . I plan on running my sidewinder stock as in no flashes or tunes just clutching and would like to gear it. I run Alot of lakes so mid to top is all I care about. Wanna stretch the legs on this sw. It has enough power to go 120 without voiding warranty with altering the ecu.

Agree Ken, stock IMO does not load the belt enough, so its soft on bottom end and likely slipping too.i'd say you could but the stk. ramp profile is too flat ,period .
Its easy once you have a flash or set boost, to get the correct weight. But I just was wondering for a guy who wanted to get the daltons installed all else stock, and then be able to add weight to them afterwards when we flash it up to PT, that is adding like 50hp or so? Big increase from stock to PT so not sure something like the 70 would cover both ends of that HP range.
I wonder if Dale has some extra heavy material "slugs" that would increase the "range" of adjustability? Dale?

I agree, once the flash is in (PT) I will know where to start with base weight. And Tom is all for the flash no doubt! hahaI think I remember Ben from TD say that the 70 series might be a little light for the power trail but don't quote me on that.
The 70 weights might work with the stock helix but with my steeper starting angle they would be too heavy IMO.
Just get the tune Dan, buy a set of dtya 1 weights and forget this stock talk. Hahaha
Maybe a road trip to see Ben in person is in order? Since this weather blows!
