So you are running the 73.6g daltons OPEN?
This is with stock muffler and stock ecu correct?
No other clutch changes?
How are the gains?
Love these weights as you can adjust them without removal when on clutch/sled. Fast for tuning.

I'm running the qay66 weights. 66 grams
Sled is all stock except for clutching.
I took my sled out on a test strip and got 107 mph gps. Then put the dalton weights in and got 109. The bottom end pull is much improved with no sign of top end loss.
These are my favourite weights as well. Easy to tune and gains are decent. I run them in my Polaris axys as well

Interesting....I would have thought heavier base weight, I want to have enough adjustability for a flash to come later.I'm running the qay66 weights. 66 grams

Do you know the diff between QAY and DTYA? Im talking about the profile, are they all the same curvature? Maybe Dale will chime in. In the explanation on his site(below) it sure sounds like all these weights have same curve profile, just diff base weights.

I have the dtya 1,2and3 weight left over from my turbo viper. They look like the same profile sitting side by side. Tried the dtya 1 and too heavy.
The dalton weight have have more of an aggressive profile which acts like a heavy weight.
Td is using qay70 in their Eco trail tune and quiet muffler just for comparison

Just wondering if could get away with 70g base weight on stocker, and then have enough slugs to add enough for powertrail, so basically from 10lbs boost stock, to 14.7lbs .I have the dtya 1,2and3 weight left over from my turbo viper. They look like the same profile sitting side by side. Tried the dtya 1 and too heavy.

The 70s range from 70 to 77.4g loaded....any thoughts guys? This is with all else being left alone on clutching.
thnx

i'd say you could but the stk. ramp profile is too flat ,period .Just wondering if could get away with 70g base weight on stocker, and then have enough slugs to add enough for powertrail, so basically from 10lbs boost stock, to 14.7lbs .

What weights did you go with? What kind of improvement did you see over stock ones?Yes this is a great machine. I have 975 miles with no blown belts so far.
I was reluctant to change the weights but it really improved the performance on my sled
My clutches are clean and I have consistent rpm in most conditions I ride. Luv it!!

I think I remember Ben from TD say that the 70 series might be a little light for the power trail but don't quote me on that.
The 70 weights might work with the stock helix but with my steeper starting angle they would be too heavy IMO.
Just get the tune Dan, buy a set of dtya 1 weights and forget this stock talk. Hahaha
