The yammie rollers are that bad are they? What kind of rpm and top speed are you getting out of your sidewinder? I've heard some variety on here from 108 too 123 stock no reflash or power add on. I'm really hoping for 120mph +++++

Conditions mean everything. On hard pack or ice I have no trouble hitting 120 gps.
I do a lot of trail riding and I am more impressed with the new weights on the trail. Very snappy and fun to ride

Yes this is a great machine. I have 975 miles with no blown belts so far.
I was reluctant to change the weights but it really improved the performance on my sled
My clutches are clean and I have consistent rpm in most conditions I ride. Luv it!!

I am wrapped at 3&3 in the secondary. 6&1 will give u a little more performance on the trail but will bind on top end.
Shimming the helix as per shagman and nospro suggestion will help with the coil bind!!

Just left them the way they came. Didn't have to add any weight with my setup.

what was your stock position of your spring in the secondary, also what does 6 and 1 mean and 3 and 3 mean , I realise these are position points but any pictures or explaination would be great. How many studs are you runningJu

Along the same vein....Is it true a clutch kit that gives better low end and better back shifting for tight trail use. A loss in top end is noticed?

not really, rpm ,hp,gearing will determine top end .Along the same vein....Is it true a clutch kit that gives better low end and better back shifting for tight trail use. A loss in top end is noticed?

It's come up on dootalk over the years. Specifically 800's, and I just assumed clutching is a give and take.

I run 3-3 now with the dalton weights. I was running 6-1 with stock weights
3-3 is 60 degree and 6-1 is a 70 degree wrap in the secondary. Just add the two numbers together and times by ten. The higher the number the more spring tension there is in the secondary. More tension will give u more back shift and stay in a lower gear longer.
It's a balance between the primary and secondary. You only want enough tension in the secondary to keep the belt from slipping and allow the sled to shift into overdrive. Too much tension could result in coil bind and/or belt slipping

This is with stock muffler and stock ecu correct?
No other clutch changes?
How are the gains?
Love these weights as you can adjust them without removal when on clutch/sled. Fast for tuning.
