That's about right for stock engagement.
To check the secondary properly you need to pull it off and pull it apart to read the number and letter that the spring is set on.
Schmidt Brother do have a "Confort Clutch Kit" that I am supposed to lower engagement. I've never tried it but it might be what you are looking for.
