You will have better luck posting on the two-stroke side of TY.

Thanks for your input DMCTurbo, most appreciated. Do you or did you run this set up on an srx in the past?

Ok wonderful.
I suppose you had very good success with it.
Just to give you some more input to figure out if it will work for me as well:
We can't use studs in the Yukon or northern BC on the drag races. I am about 240 lbs clothed up, 6 foot 2. Elevations we run the drags is usually about 2500.

Also could you recommend a place where I could source these clutch items you recommended?
Thanks
Thanks

They are all yamaha parts. The helix came on the apex I believe or can be purchased thru Dalton. You are best to go to the 2 stroke side of TY for more info.

Thanks for this. I already found where I can source the parts. We also have an incredible Yamaha dealer ship here in the Yukon, who are really helpful as well. They are all yamaha parts. May I ask you yet what kind of track your are running on your srx for the drags?
Thanks

I don't know what class you're running in, but if you are non-studded, then you'd want 1.25-1.5 lug height. 1.5 is the most that will fit for clearance. Thanks for this.
