was wondering the best way to remove and install clutch weight rivits, have herd tap lightly and peen with hammer only on rivit not weight, if any one knows or a video link would be cool! also herd 1 gram brings rpm down 100 rpm, true?and if so i assume 1 gram off all 3 weights lowers rpm 100 not 300 rpm correct?

drill the head off, punch it out, new one peen over with a hammer.

did that! actually easier said than done with out touching weight! i will peen over with hammer but have herd the weight will break easier than expected!hammer and punch sounds so rough, iv been handing like fine china!! any input on rpm changes as per gram?

I actually use a weight tool to remove the rivets that support the weight and allows the rivets to drop thru. They are stronger then you think.

ok thanks , ill look for tool, just dint want to break these weights, its a dalton kit and was expensive! i see now he has adjustable ones with washers etc! oh well, any input on rpm change
