Last night my 16 xtx started rough idling and stalling and showing code 34 "
Code 34: Open circuit in the primary circuit of the Cylinder #2 ignition coil." Googled it and seems very common ....none of the threads really have final solution. Seems like most suspected wire harness or loose pins in connectors to coil. Anyone one have any more info on this . Thanks

I think the usual routine is to swap the coils and if the code moves with the coil, ie. to #1, then replace coil. If it doesn't look for issues in the wiring.

And check for continuity between those leads and the ECU. Gray/Red and the other wire is Red/white

Continuity is good, tried wiggling wires etc stayed good...swapped coils and plug to opposite sides, die electric greased ecu and coil connectors, coils and plugs. Everything working great now....im sure it will be back though...
