Cold air modules and tunnel closer

Two part question boys. First anybody try the cold air modules from Schmidt Bros. Just curious if the 5-7 hp is really there, and second is the tunnel closer a good idea? Thanks fellas !!!

Do a search on the intake. 5-7hp seems extreme....I was gonna buy one as well but after reading posts I am gonna hold off. As far as the block off plate, just finished installing mine this week. A bit pricey for a piece of aluminum, but the fit is near perfect...should reduce buildup by at least 50%

D & D uses them on arctic cat and get good hp gains so y wouldn't it work on a yamaha , did they dyno it , what if he put dyno #'s up . I'm going to e-mail or call to see if he has any #'s on this mod

i made my own tunnel close kit. My dad got me a few pieces of Aluminum from work and i fabricated a nice little kit from it. ill have pics on later tonight.
It covers up most of the holes and it might reduce water coming down the tunnel and giving me left boot syndrome
