My cold coolant indicator-the red light we wait for to go out before you can touch the throttle-does not come on when I start the sled(06 Apex ER) Does that mean the temp sensor is out? Assuming it turns out the indicator light and indicates high temp? Any thoughts?
Sled is new to me, haven t ridden it yet...

Really that simple? I should have started the Vector to see if it did it too...
Thanks!
Thanks!

If its above 65 F (ball-park'ish) the engine and coolant are usually already warm enough the indicator light does not come on.

I thought the same thing with my nytro but then it click in my head that it was 80 degrees out so I figured that was why it didn't come on. I still let my sled run for a minute to get a good warm up

Gives you an idea in the winter how warm the engine is when the light goes off. Its definitely not ready to have the throttle pinned and hit 8700 rpm.
