:D I'm new to this sight and am interested in a Vector for a second sled for my wife and myself. This site has some great info. I'm very intrigued
by the 4 stroke, (less noise, no smoke, and yamaha quality). I love my Rev 500ss Adenaline. The harder you ride it the smoother it is period. Here is my question. Have any of you ridden a Rev with the SC-3 suspension and a Vector with the ProActive suspension that could give me a comparison for trail riding. A trail that is rough with good size stutter bumps (8"-10"). I'm not talking about ditch banging just a rough trail. Thanks for any input.

well up in northern wisconsin i hooked up with some revs and we were hittin some 6-8" bumps and i was probably ridin bout 75% of my ability just to keep up with them. but that also could go the same way too. i can see where they call the revs...the mogul mashers...not sure bout the vector...i have the rage. i have bout 350mi on my rage and i absolutely love it!!! powerband is awesome, ripsaw is unbelievable and u get 18+mpg no matter how hard u ride....plus no 2-stroke oil

;)! Thanks pimped, I'm not looking to go mogul mashing with it. I guess I'd like to know if its comparable to the m-10 for softness or if you can get it soft for my wife. My sc-3 in the adrenaline pkg. is pretty stiff.

actually i heard that the mono shock for the rx1 is very close and almost better than the m10...a lot easier to adjust. im thinkin that next year most of yamahas sleds will have the mono rear skid. if u were really interested in buying a sled with an awesome suspension i'd maybe wait til next year. but if u have a lot of cash to burn...which most guys on here dont, but u could buy one this year. i'd believe it'd be soft enough for ur wife...depending on how much she weighed. if shes 90lbs then u might have a problem. im tellin ya tho a 4-stroke is the way to go. EVERY GUY on here says that they wont ride another 2 stroke. AND IM ONE OF THEM. my dad has an 04 rx1 and he says hes never goin back. if i were u i'd buy a vector for ur wife and u!! best investment u'll make

the pro active is springy in the moguls. If you bottum oput it springs back up. Im used to a viper so for me the vector skid feels awesome i love it. however my dad has the monoshcok and it is definalty a smooth comfy ride.

I have ridden a rev and i own a rs rage. The rev handles washboard bumps better but in the ruff stuff they are about the same.

:D Thanks guys! Thats exactly what I wanted to know. I think I'm going to wait a few weeks to see what comes out for 06'. Can't wait!!
I just studded her Pantera last night for our Old Forge trip next month.
Think snow!!!!!
