Compression Test Question

I am planning to do a compression test on my 04 RX1. I am assuming it is done when the motor is hot. Also what should the compression be ????

Book says 206 PSI at 400 rpm @ sea level

400 RPM...I assume that is what the starter turns the motor at....Do you run the motor first to warm it up before doing the test...

yes warm the moter up 1 st. 179 to 230 with 206 being the norm . good luck

Hold the throttle slides open when running the test to get the correct reading, it reads higher with slides open cause more air enter the engine......
