My coolant tested to 5 degrees today, obvisouly not enough. So I need to drain and refill again. Is bleeding has hard on a RX as it is on a viper? On the viper it can literally take hours to get it done right. Makes me mad it was just replaced when i got it. It also looks like there is some sediment in the coolant tank itself, any ideas on how to flush? Just stick a hose in there and keep filling draining?

Thanks guys :rocks:

Take the throttle side cowling off. Take the hose off running to the front heat exchanger and drain. Put it back on and fill with water run sled take off same hose and drain again. Put hose back on and fill with premixed 50/50 or 60/40 coolant run sled and add as needed you may want to save some room to add a bottle of water wetter while your at it. When you go on your first ride take some premixed coolant with you or don't go to far from home in case you need to add some in case part of the system was air locked and the the coolant level in the reservoir will be down once the air gets purged to the reservoir. This is how I would do mine.

Borrow a buddy's shop vac, take fill cap off, and suck. When done return shop vac. Clean , no mess, and your vac is good to go. LOL Maxdlx

The other way to bleed the system is to keep the sled on an angle. Elevate the front. I just tip the trailer with the sled on it. Then start it up and let it get hot. Then crack the coolant cap slowly and the air will come out of the system. You can do this a couple of times. I have done it by driving the front of the sled up a snow bank also.
