Got stranded the other day on my 07 apex rtx.
Was out riding and headed home. On the way home decided to stop off at a bud's and say hi. Turned out he wasn't home and left. As I was going back across the lake on my tracks,I noticed a line of green coolant and stopped. As soon as I stopped the temp warning light came on. Took off side panel and the f'n reservoir is bone dry!
Drove it back to my buds house and parked it. It was only about 500 yrds away. I went over the other day and picked up my apex with a trailer. Got it home and poured some coolant in her just to back it in the shed. It was running out as fast as I could pour it in. It is coming out from the sides of the belly pan.
gonna rip into her tomorrow and see twhat the hell is going on.
Anyone else have any coolant leaks all of a sudden out of the blue?
I am hoping it is just a hose or a clamp, won't know till tomorrow.
Cheers,
Rick.

What side is this coming out of?

It definately sounds like a clamp, maybe you blew some belt threads and it ripped one off in the belt compartment, although this is unlikely.

Otherwise, the mag side has tons of clamps, maybe one of them let go. Also, check the top of the motor, some people have had problems with the coolant tube going inside the motor.

I can't really tell what side its coming from b/c its running out from the sides of my belly pan protector.
I don't think its coming from the rad above the chaincase because I think I would of saw that when I added coolant to the reservoir and it ran out the bottom. I will let you know what I find out tomorrow. I'm heading back to my friend budweiser now. LOL!
Cheers,
Rick.

Found out what happened.
Looks like I put a stud through the front heat exchanger. Got looking further and have one stud pulled through the track. It must of been still attached half assed and rubbing the exchanger.
Looking for a front heat exchanger.
