I just ordered some as I have to disconnect my pipes to replace the reverse gear on the Phazer. I'll take some pics as I go along and write something up.

Yep freezer. Thats where the saying came from "cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey"

Hi Crewchief47. I have a boosted 2010 nytro mtx. There is only about 300kms on the turbo. The sled is fairly loud but getting louder and I'm thinking....or I'm sure it's the exhaust doughnuts. I will be ordering some of yours and will keep everyone posted as to how they stand up to 10lbs boost and deep mountain powder.

I just got the exhust noise. I replaced the Ypipes with SS Ypipes and donuts 2 1/2 years ago. Bought sled new 5 years ago so I'm hopeing its just the donuts this time. When I give it throttle at a standstill it has a sound like a baffle inside the muffler is loose or some there is something loose. No backfires. I'll have to look more today. But I'm ordering these because either way I'm going to install them while going threw the whole system.
Is it common to have the muffer go at 8000 miles?

Nytro19, Your order went out after lunch, should see them around Tuesday/Wednesday I should think.
Capt, It's just a stab but I'd guess your donuts are done and it's the clamps spinning on the pipes giving you the rattle. It could also be a heat shield up inside the tunnel though. I've removed some shields from two RX-1's because they were loose/about to fall off.

For anybody wondering if they should go with these or not, DO IT! Here's what mine looked like after 6000Km compared to the copper. I didn't think they were leaking since there was no detectable noise but the evidence shows otherwise with insulating material missing/burnt just below it and just mesh left. It was quieter with the copper.
Although we don't hear much about Phazers having leaking donuts, this shows we also have this problem.
