I crashed my Apex last friday. I hit a tree with the a-arm on the right side. I dont see any damage there but a tree hit the foot board and pushed it in about 3 inches. The tunnel has some wrinkles by the the suppension contro tool. I called the insurance company and I have to take it in to the dealer for an estimate. Do you think it will be totaled out? The sled seem to ride just fine. I dont know how much the bulk head is or what is all involved. I took most of my stuff off the sled that is not stock, Bags, hand gards ect...... I think the insurance company will only give me $4200 after the $500 deductible and I should be able to sell it for $5200+ in the fall. It has 3900 miles on it. Should I take my clutch kit out? Do you think it will be fixable? Thank you

i hit my phazer and learned that the replacement parts add up fast $ also the value of your sled is much more to you than them I took some money for my sled and bought the sled back off the insurance company which was the best option for me I should of parted out the sled for more money but did a quick sale for enough to satisfy what the sled was worth to me when I added what I got from settlement and sold sled for. Good luck if you let sled go let me know what bags you have if you decide to sell any.

To me thats a totaled sled. In order to bring that sled to current market value it will take 1/2 the cost of the machine in parts and labor.

usually if its half or more the value of the sled to fix the damage, its totaled... good luck!

I crashed my 06 Polaris afew years ago and it was totaled out. My insurance would not let me buy it back. I feel I got screwed. I had lots of extras on that sled and I lost it all. That is why I want to take my clutch kit off and all the extra stuff I have on it

That's why I keep all my stock parts. To put back on in case of a crash

Wait and see what the accident estimate tells you. If the only damage is to the tunnel buy it back and repair the damage and it will be the cheapest apex you have ever bought in the end .

Where are you located? I have a full rear tunnel/frame if you need one ready to go. Just depends on where you live to see if its worth it.
