I never knew what happened to Doug Henry!
For those who dont know him, he was a pro-motocrosser that took on the challenge of Sno-X on a Yami back in ,Id say maybe 2000-2001 or so. I never really heard where he went, Now I Know !

Wow good for him! I wish I could ride with half that style!
A friend broke his back when he fell off the roof at work shoveling snow. It was so far back I going to guess it was in the late 70's. He rode a Cat with a wheel chair rack on the back for some time. Last time I talked to him he is buying an Apex for this winter to haul his chair.
He can't ride like that either! But he rides! As long as his suit sticks to the seat he is good to go!

I also broke my spine in 2 places a little over 2years ago from a dirt bike accident. I am not paralyzed but did aquire some permanent nerve damage to my left leg and foot and it has affected my arms and hands some also. But I still ride the sled just can't do the 300 mile trips anymore. That's one of the reasons I have been riding mostly off trail the past couple seasons, I can stop whenever I need to for a break and 3-5 hours off trail is all I need to satisfy my need to ride. Speaking of Blair Morgan, while I have not seen the video myself I read in one of my snowmobile mags that he was on a sled last winter going over 100mph. Hope it's true. I don't however ride the bikes anymore I can't raise my foot to shift.

One of my Doctors is an avid snowmobiler and when I expressed some concern about riding again he said " you can still ride just don't do anything crazy like jumping or flying through the mogul sections". He knows I drive a F-250 SuperDuty and he said " most of the time the trails are as good if not better than the pothole riddled roads we drive on so you should be ok". But I ride mostly off trail now anyway. Jumping would be too big a risk of total paralyasis so I refrain from jumping as you see in my avatar just carry the skis over hills and set it down smoothly.
