Got a letter from yamaha dealer thanking me for my purchase. Pleas call and make an appointment for inital service. Is it required to take my sled? I do all my own maintenence and repairs. I changed oil/filter adjust chaincase and check fluids. Just concerned about voiding my 5 year warranty if I dont bring it to them and have to pay someone if I dont have to.

I believe if you fill out the maintenance card with service performed, date, etc. you should be good.
If you buy material from dealer or other sources keep receipts with your maintenance card and you should be good to go.
