My Yamaha Dealer sold me Amsoil 2000 chain case lube. I know most of you are using mobil 1 gear lube. The Amsoil is what he recomended. I know the Apex calls for gear lube. The Amsoil 2000 does not show a viscosity rating on it. Do you think it will be ok to run this chaincase oil........
Thank you

That what I use in my apex and what I used on the last 5 sleds before it.

That's what I always use.
In comparison to other chaincase oils, this one flows easier in colder days.

Been using it for years. One of, if not the best on the market in my opinion.

Use it in my apex and great results
I use Amsoil ATF, stuff works great, and the transition from forward to reverse and back again seems smoother. Especially when the chaincase is cold.

I ran the same oil last season for 1700 miles and when I changed it it came out light brown like when I put it in, Great stuff!
