Guys, I can't stress it enough that IF you plan on riding in deep powder, or doing some backcountry riding on this sled, the Intense Powder track or even a taller lug is a MUST for the 121 !!! I would not be here reporting on yesterday's ride without it, it saved the day without a doubt ! Anyway, still got a few bugs to work out, major snow build-up on the tunnel and floorboards is at the top of my list. I'm getting the rear suspension more dialed in now, 5 more clicks of compression on each rear shock, moving in the right direction anyway. I'm getting 16.5 mpg CDN from my last ride in 2-4 feet of powder snow, and there was another 2-3 FEET on top of that yesterday, it's NUTS the amount of snow we have for this time of year already !!!

Anyway, here's some pics for ya, they speak for themselves... ;)!

How did the FX nytro compare to that Polaris and what are the specs on the Polaris.

Were you stuck in the two picks with the stop sign in them. Did you need a ski pull?

Going to try and stuff a 120x1.75x16 track under the ol FX Nytro today... After being up for 24 hours I'll get a start on it anyway!

Yep, I was stuck :o| , but only twice for the entire day, so not bad considering we were riding in 4-6 feet of snow at times ! I tried to get a good pic to show how much snow was at the Wildcat Road sign and slowed down, BIG MISTAKE !!! Just a bottomless pit of snow, perhaps a Nytro MTX would have made it, who knows...the Dragon is bone stock except for a 121 x 14 x 1.5 snowcross track, and he had his work cut out for him as well, any 121 sled would have ! Forgot to mention, the Slydog Race Skis floated AMAZINGLY well in the powder, glad I had 2 good days to test them out ;)!

Looks like you should have bought an MTX..... great shots, and holy snow depth batman.

Nice pics Dave...How's the sled comparing to your old Blair Morgan now that you have had the chance to try it in different conditions?

Hmnnn, MORE power, WAYYY MORE comfortable, as easy or easier to carve in powder, better steering on hard packed (Slydogs too though), and I have to say it carries itself through cluster #$%&* s a lot better too ! :-o Goddo, if you had seen where I put this poor sled yesterday (by mistake guys, couldn't help it) and MADE IT OUT without even a decent run at it, your jaw would still be on the floor I'm sure of it ! 35 degree downslope grade, 400 feet off the perpindicular trail, burried in 8 feet of snow, 15 foot run at the attack to climb back up, and it made it back UP to the connecting crossroad, I still can't believe it made it out, I gotta hand it to the AMAZING power and torque of this sled, it's lightweight chassis, the Slydog Skis, and most importantly combined with the 1.5 Intense track !!! If not, I would be gone back up to the Highlands today to dig it out, cause I thought it was staying the night ! On the downside, only a few things, the running boards collected wayyy too much snow in this type of riding, and I was constantly clearing off the headlight last night, but I'm going to figure something out to improve upon in these areas. The heated grips and throttle were not very good coming out last night either, my hands were very cold ! I'll keep everyone informed and updated ;)!

Nice pics!!!!!! Good luck trying to keep that much snow out of the footwells!!!! LOL!!! ;)!

you must have been just giggling in your helmet..!! looks like way to much fun.....basta_d

You got that right !!! That is, until I went over the bars in my cluster #$%&* :o|

One of the most powdery days of riding for me so far, and I lost 5 lbs of body mass, it was challenging to say the least ! :exc:

Nice pics.

The MTX would of tore that stuff up no problems. It floats really well, it doesn't "plow" through the snow like you see in the pictures.

Just be careful you don't get yourself in somewhere you can't get out with that shortie! :)

Well SS, if yesterday didn't stop me, NOTHING will ! :-o Even mountain sleds could have gotten stuck in those conditions yesterday !

I'm not saying a Mountain sled couldn't get stuck in those, trust me, I'm the stuck king, mostly because I get foolish and try playing too hard and fall off. :moon:

Another pic I just received...
