For those running their Phazer's in deep snow, how do you keep the snow out of the radiator? When I carve the rad gets encased in snow and pretty much stops working when that happens,. Have to stop regularly and take the panel off to clean out the slush. What does everyone else do?

I added a Frogzskin right below the stock rad opening, think it was a 2". Never had any overheating in deep pow with it, and it stays clear of ice

I have a Frogskinz on the lower half. But what about the top? I had a screen on the top part but took it off as it just made it worse!

Jeez dont know what to tell ya, I have the metal screen on top and I am OK in pow. Your rad fan kick in when it gets plugged up on the front side?

I use my right foot while riding and give the panel a little side boot. Sometimes I even just use my hand to give panel a bang. I know it gets plugged but it works.
Never, had issues other than the ice build up around the steering block. Yet to block that little triangle under the rad yet

Never needed to do it on my Phazer but on Viper some of us have reversed the fan with great results. Maybe try that. Fan really only is needed when going slow under heavy load anyway. I suspect the reversed one will melt and blow the snow right off the grill. We just reverse them by either removing wires from plug or one guy just ground the little tab off plug which makes it one way and electrical taped plug together.
