Well the riding season is looking pretty bad here in northern New Hampshire. I was outside working on my truck in just a t-shirt earlier, thanks to the 60 degree temps!!! Soon after the temp dropped a little and it rained pretty hard all afternoon. The trails are dirt, and many are flooded. Lakes are dangerous because of the warm weather and so much rain. A sled went through the ice in Pittsburg a few days ago. I guess at this point, we can't keep saying "well its still early", since the real riding season usually ends in late Feb./early March. I think I have maybe 50 miles on, mostly from doing trail cleanup and brush cutting on our small access trail. Hopefully we get some real snow soon, so we can at least put a few miles on!!!

I feel your pain, I have about 250 mi on this year.

Was in Errol today and did 110 miles by 1pm. Part of the trails were great, some icey and some water bars. Not the best but parts were very good.

I live in northern part of Norway at 70 N lattitude. We lost almost all snow caused by a f.... warm december. Now temps are below -20 C and heavy winds for weeks on end and no snowfall. It's a desert we live in, ice everywhere. I have got less than 100 miles this year and gone thru a set of sliders already. It sucks, but next week says the weathergirls, there may some snowfalls heading north, I really hope so. To those who have snow, happy sledding.

Jim, I feel I need to be a man and apologize to you and every other person on TY that does not have snow. I made the mistake and bought a RX-1 and a new snowblower this year. I knew this would cause me to not have to worry about any snow, however I didn't realize it would affect so many people. I am truly sorry for my error.

And I thought it was all because I have a brand new motor in my sled, and I also purchased a few new snowmobile accessories. I thought I covered myself though, since we are living on the edge of the heart of snowmobile country, but I don't have any snow removal equipment to take care of the driveway! No plow, a broken snowblower, and my lawn tractor snowblower conversion wasn't finished before winter came, and I haven't gotten back to working on it. I thought for sure we would have snow up to our windows and no way to deal with it.

Bet you will be able to get a good deal on snow moving equipment this year unless things REALLY CHANGE!

Maybe sleds too ........ thats the pitts

It could be me. I am not dealed in yet, maybe winter is waiting for me getting ready to ride and deal her in. Supertips are in the mail, I will have them this week I hope. Then it may start dumping at us. Typically it is March that is the month of heavy snowfall around here. No snow is too little, a little is just enough to ride, a lot of snow is much appreciated. Think snow........

It's all me  Last summer i got a new PWC and every day of i had it rained . This winter i get a rx-1 ( i have wanted 1 since 03 ) and no snow.i only got 2 ride it 4 20min.

Well I haven't registered our sleds yet. I'm waiting for decent trails before dumping $130 to register a pair of sleds. I checked the forcast, and nothing but a few flurries for the next 10 days. aaarrrggg.
