Wondering what is different on the the two skids, rail mount points, shocks, etc? Seems like the 136 can be extended much farther and a 121 can only go to 136 wondering why? Thanks!

All I can tell you is that they use the same shock, pivot arm idlers, the rear arm is somewhat different and of course the rails are a little longer it even uses the same reinforcing braces...its got extra ones on the mid lower section that the shorty hasn't.
Now to make it any longer I'm not shure on that part...drop Scot an email at OFT here`s the link http://www.oftracing.com/ he`s also a TY member.

Same skids, same mount points. The 136 unit has the upper idler wheels on a separate shaft rather than on the rear arm like a 121 has. I have taken a 121 model to 144's and a 136 model to 151 without any problems. Most companies simply will not make a rail extension to go longer than a 144 when starting on a 121 base skid.

So you can swap rails (using 136 rails) to get the 136 as well?
So its not a geometry issue but a strength issue with the short rails?
