I figured I would post it here because it can apply to the winder or viper. I have an irritating line going through the left side of the screen on my viper, basically cuts off half of my temperature readout. My question is, if I bought a new display gauge would the dealer or anyone be able to pre-program the kilometres on to the new gauge? I’ll get a picture tomorrow morning...

I believe that is saved in the cpu. No programming necessary

Mileage I believe is stored in the gauge cluster, hours are stored in the ECU. So if you buy a new gauge, it will show 0 mileage, but will show the correct amount of hours.

This is what I was afraid of hearing, do you know if they could possibly be programmed?Mileage I believe is stored in the gauge cluster, hours are stored in the ECU. So if you buy a new gauge, it will show 0 mileage, but will show the correct amount of hours.

There is not a way to program it that I'm aware of.

SRXspec is correct. I had a gauge warrantied at 5300 miles. The new one read 0 when I picked it up. The hour display is correct.
I took a picture of the mileage before the exchange so I could relay this to the next owner.
