Maybe it's me. But I was all gun ho about sleds and riding and buying a new sled for next year. But as soon as a constant 50* rolled around. I started thinking about other things. Taking the car out of storage, the bike, golf etc. And didn't even think about riding. Kind if a weird question I guess, but maybe the die hards cant stop thinking about sledding at all. Or start wanting snow in July. So how do you guys feel about the end of the season?

Maybe it's because I don't have a bike or a nice car but when I look out into the fields where the trails are I start thinking about sleds. On the way to my cottage I pass by the trails 5 or 6 times so the itch always comes back.

Yea I always think about riding when I pass trails.. and the freedom of a sled.. But then its back to golf or whatever, lol

Only thing I dont like about summer.... Woodticks.....

in think sled all year round,i'm a fanatic, only time i let it go is when the snow is all but gone and i start ripping on my atv's,but i find them so boring compared to a sled powerwise, then in may,we start going camping with our sledding group, mostly familly, cousin's,uncle's and my bro, then we talk sleds and how much fun we had,it never stops all summer long

Yea I think its always seasonal .. In the winter I love to skate, snowboard and ride, in the summer its all about the beach, golf, the cars and bikes.. But its hard to think about sleds when your on a boat looking at women in bikinis all day drinking cocktails

Snowmobileing is my big thing now for the year so I miss it and check TY alot off season but the postings are real slow in coming.
I can't afford ATV or boats anymore. Have Kyak's but aren't the same. I do some mild hiking but nothing beats the roar of a R1 under your butt and a good cheap lunch at one of the small back woods joints on the trail

Dont stop thinking about sledding, Im always sledding somewhere!

Yep, my sledding interest is starting to drop off a cliff right now. Then I usually wait too long to get back into it. Like this fall, I didn't put the swap tracks and install the skid until the day before I went on my first ride. Summer time I spend a decent amount of time working on my 70' Malibu and the rest tooling around on my Rancher 420. Also go the pontoon boat that gets used quite a bit.

Once the sled hits storage for me it's outta sight outta mind and the boat gets splashed and it's game on fishing until deer season...Then I can't wait for snow again to ride. And the cycle repeats itself every year..

Never stop thinking about it. The summer time is when I work them. Then come september its Haydays, and the Snowshow in october. And then only 5 weeks to rid etime.

P.s. I even take the sled out in the summer, over the field.

I never stop thinking of sledding. I usually work on them all summer long. This summer will be a long waite just picked up a 2006 attak.

I sit in my deer stand with bow in hand thinking about where in the heck I should put some more idler wheels. haha

I don't stop thinking about it till mud season then the mud truck comes out to play . Also when all the salt is off the road ill start driving my 79 z28 camaro untill Oct or so then ill start making plans for the sled . But seeing how the snow ended early (this heat wave sucks) I might be able to get mud truck done early and not be rushed (Yeh right that's what makes things intresting) . But this year I have to wait to see if we go on strike at work bastards are trying to elemate all overtime and make us work for stieght time (continueious operations) . So everything may be put on hold for now
