Do you lose interest in snowmobiling in the off season??

I think about it but my cobra, gsxr and golf make me forget! Come November when I put the other toys away i can't stop thinking about sledding and the snow can't come fast enough!

Once nice "WARM" weather stays around it's in with the sleds, out with the cycles....... My wife and I ride&take trips a lot in the summer... The sled talk doesn't come up at all until late aug. when the first snow show comes around. MM.

Just got back from Muni last week (damn it was great!!) and now snow is almost gone here in Gaylord. I'm almost going into "get the boat out mode", just to hear it, ya know. I love sleddin, but these last two years have really got me scratchin my head. We (wife and I) spend a $hitload of money on sleds and gear and it is starting to seem counterproductive when we only get 7 weeks of riding. I'm about ready for boating season now. They say snow for next few days, but we would need at least a foot to ride again here........ugh.......whatever.....let it snow...or be gone and bring on the warm weather. But!!.....the sled never leaves my mind all thorugh summer.

My wife wishes that I would forget about sleds. When I'm on the golf course the raised greens look like a great jump. Driving down the road, all of the hills look like a good climb. Out on the four wheeler I think about being there on a sled. A therapist may think that I have issues.

Stay active 12 months ; especially in a local club. 1200 members & 1800 sleds. Club meetings once a month and Board meetings in between. There are always equipment issues, landowner problems, finanical headaches, new trail projects or fund raising events...but love it , fun doing it and good to see a lot of people really appreciate what a few of us have done... Not off season yet but snow here is just about shot; so time to head north. Leaving tomorrow for a week in Maine.

i can relate, been active in our club for the past 10 years and i'm the youngest, might end up president if nobody else wants the position

Once the season is over and the snowmobiles are tucked away, I pretty much forget about them until late October. Summer gets busy with motorcycling, kayaking, and family cookouts. Now if I could just retire at this point in time, I'd have more time for fun.

Always thinking about snowmobiling. My sled is on the lift in the garage all year long and I walk by it every day. Although walking by the sled every day is a little tuff during low snow winters like this one. G.B.

My addiction to snowmobiling is 365 days a year. In the off season I work on new trails and trail improvements for next season.

Spring, summer, and fall are filled with wheeling and riding the motorbike, but I am always working on the sled in the garage during those months. it's way too much fun to put mods on the sled.

Don't be worried! .. That sounds totally normal!

Love that avatar Dimebag! I don't store mine at home in the summer and don't think about it too much, but as soon as the Snowmobile Show comes around in October that's all I think about. I remember a great picture a friend had on his fridge of a guy inside a fridge wearing full snowmobile outfit with helmet....just waiting.
