My 1st choice would be direct injection 2 stoke 700 triple. But that seems unlikely. Yamaha has 700 and 800 cc twins in the SXS. Would it make a good sled engine if they put a turbo on it? I know nothing about that engine, looking for something for Yamaha to return to sledding.

It would certainly make a good power choice between the 130-ish 1049cc Viper & the brutal, axe wielding barbarian 998cc SW/T-Cat.
The 750 Polaris had years back made 140-ish. So, no reason the Yamahas couldn't be 140-150 dependent on displacement, boost, timing, cams, etc.
