Does anybody have instructions for running the intake through the vent for MPI trail kit?

The pipe will fit out the black vent hole however it's going to stick out on an angle so I used the drum sander on the drill to slowly notch the colored plastic so that I could get the intake to stand upright. I will take closeup picture tonight.

does it need to be upright? or can it be at an angle?

Doesn't need to stand straight up. Its just personal preference with cosmetics. I think it looks more stock looking and somewhat hidden when it's like that.

In the last picture I pulled the intake tube away from the blue plastic so it be could be photographed. The tube rests right in that notch when its in the normal position. The intake remains very flexible with the two silicone 90's under the hood so if you happen to roll it in the powder it moves around.

How do you cut the hood ? Do you use a 2 1/2 inch hole saw ? Or dremmel ?

Hole saw that's just slightly bigger then the pipe.
