called my dealer for lower ball joints for my 2010 phazer mtx. they want 160 dollars each. heard lots of good things about port yamaha on this website,so i checked out their website. they want 67 dollars for lower ball joints? why is there so much difference between the wisconson and saskatchewan for price? if i were to order from port yamaha would i have to deal with customs and stuff at the border and get insane shipping costs?

Order Sledtoyz FX Chassis lower ball joint kit and never have to worry about replacing them again. They are about the cost of new ball joints and last a lot longer.

Well not really have it shipped to you by USPS and fill your boots. Your import costs will amount to 5% gst and 5% pst on the declared value. Plus your shipping costs.

just order from port... buy the time it gets there, you will still be wayyy ahead... i order states side often... no issues.. just get usps... dont ever use ups for cross border... brokerage will rape you...

ya i noticed the difference between ups and usps. just takes a week longer somtimes. i'm kinda thinking of not doing ball joints this year cuz we only have bout 6 inches of snow and absolutly nothing in the forcast.

X2 great product!

And in case you didn't know......SledToyz is Canadian. NCI makes the ball joint kit, they're in the US but I have kits in stock for right around what it would cost you from Port. Ball Joint Kit Link

ball joints will hopefully last the season. theres no snow here, so it wont get driven much. i just ordered thistledoo nutz for the phazer an hour ago haha... going to the bush tomorow, and just get the backfiring and farting of leaking exhaust donuts. oh well.

Port Yamaha is the place to get parts! I'm always amazed that it's cheaper to order the parts from them and have them shipped then it is to drive 5 miles to my local dealer. They are also part of the TY family.

I also recommend SledToyz's bronze bushings. I also recommed that you get the shims. When I installed mine last year, I didn't use them but checking this year after getting my arms powder coated, I needed them to fill in the space between the clip and the bushing. There wasn't any wear. I think I just didn't do it right the first time. And my son's Phazer needed them too when I installed them this year.

The shims came with my kit and I think they come with them now. One of my a arms needed to be shimmed quit a bit and the other one was pretty good. Kit install was very easy and looks to last way longer then stock. And I have left over shims if it loosens up in the future. Again great product!! ;)!

Yes, NCI decided to include the shims with the kits, sometime in Nov. I believe. As a result the kit has gone up a modest $5. It's still WAY shy of the Canadian OEM ball joints.

But WAY better! ;)!
