does your dealer stock any parts? Like oil filters, sliders and push pins and other normal wear items. My dealer doesn't have anything, and most of the ppl that work there know nothing? whats your dealer like, and who's the best dealer in Canada??

Ha! No that's not normal. You would think being up in the Mac with all the money there that they would have some parts on hand. How long does it take them to get the parts in?

typical yamaha dealer..... the local one here is not much better.... that why they dont have my business anymore... and with 3 sleds, street bike and a wheeler... its BS i know!!

With the same name on the sign out front, it is the same up here in F'ton Sherlock. They tend to have more green parts on the shelf and not stock much for Yam's

Customer service in F'ton is not very good either. Expect the stink eye when you approach the parts counter. As if they have better things to do.
I get parts shipped from other dealers now.

Besides having to wait two weeks for a simple part we are being ripped off on the prices! Yesterday I checked the price for outer tierod ends and they were $64.95 each (they were in stock though) so I think I'll try the ones from Royal D. for $21.95 if the part #'s match up.

to answer the inital question my dealer barely stocks any parts but when they order parts for me they're usually in within 3 days

the prices are outrageous, I lose the bolt, washer, and collar that hold the secondary over the summer and it cost me over 60$, the bolt alone was 22$, now I lost the bolt, collar, nut, bolt and washer that hole the front suspension arm to the tunnel and that's another 70$, I'm at the point where I'd rather give my business to a dealer in the States and just let my sled sit for a couple weeks

dealer should have plugs, filters, oil, and normal wear and tear items. Dealers around here arent bad but their service is horrible and so are prices, I buy on the internet if I can.

My dealer just lost Yammie and picked up Skidoo.
I have tried to be loyal to a local dealer but now I'm heading across the river to save some money.

Dage, if you need anything let me know. I cross over riding generally every weekend and there is a contractor working here from Timmins that has guys running back and forth weekly.

Yamaha dealer in West Yellowstone, didn't have Yamalube. When I go on my trip to West Yellowstone, I have more parts than he has.
