Here are few thoughts from my experiences:
The MPI kit is very clean and nicely laid out. (not saying turbos aren't)
I LOVE how quiet it is. Most turbos are a LOT louder.
I typically get 8+ mph in the mountains... the worst ever was 6 in hard, hard riding in bottomless powder. Turbos typically do better. MPI needs a BOV and that will help.
The low end and mid range is awesome. I have not rode a turboed Nytro, but my current setup is MUCH stronger than my turboed RX down low.
I have not gotten good top end yet. I have not spent the necessry time to clutch it properly yet though. There is still more to gain.
I think the MPI kit is a good kit, but it is diferrent than what I am used to. The combo of the Nytro and SC has been good for my riding style which envolves more and more boondocking all the time. I would like to ride an impulse kit for comparison, I like what they are doing.
