Turbo or Supercharger?

Turbo Tim or HYFLYR, what other aftermarket items would you suggest to go along with the MCXPRESS turbo for the Nytro Mtn?

HYFLYR, meet your dad and saw your sled
(nice work), I helped Clyde pick up the other sled.

HAHA, dad told me A guy knew me that picked up the old sled. Thats crazy, it is a mess over their but its all good, small town. Thanks though

For the extra's here it goes
-Avid CNC'ed drivers, a must
-Boost Gauge(I ran a Auto meter and loved it)must
-Supertip clutch weights by supreme tool and machine, they are on the internetcheck them out. A must again!

Optional Things are
-Air Fuel gauge?some will argue its a must but mcxpress mapping is perfect
-Camoplast extreme track, hooks much harder than the maverick
-boost controller, I used the actuater to adjust rather than a controller to avoid boost spikes.
-Simmons skis, stock are awesome in powder but suck on any kind of hardpack, they will hurt ya.
-If you got alot of cash, go for a aftermarket skid, it will help keep that front end down on big climbs, i used stock but managed to tweak it to work but i have alot longer skid

Im sure there is more but this is all i can think of. Talk to you later man.

Yeah your dad showed us his boat and his new rifle as well. :-) Very small town.

Just curious,
Why are the drivers a must?
Simmons over C & A Razors ?

Your dad mentioned you and Tim installed your turbo, was it that big of a deal?

Thanks suggestions, I'm researching them. Later

Drivers are a must because you will shred the stock ones within miles with the power of a turbo, i did in 50 miles at 12lbs of boost. The stock extroverts arent meant for that kinda power and lay over and start ratcheting, even with a tight track. The stock skis in my opinion are sweet in the deep pwder but in spring time conditions are dangerous because they dart like no other ski i have eer ridden and i have tryed them all. I like the simmons because of the dual keel design and the flex nicely but my other favorite is the C&A Xt because they are wide and float well for what they are. I would go either way with those but the skis are personal preference for most people. Either way boost is addictive and your going to love it.

Point well taking on the drivers. Have you ever rode the PPD X-MT skis? How much knowledge does it take to install the turbo kit, I've read the MCXpress Nytro kit is a lot easier than the Apex one, but being new to them I'm just not sure if I should have my dealer install or try myself??

Sounds great I can't wait for the first ride.

The X-MT skis by PPD Group perform like SLP PPs' and the wide yamaha mtn skis in deep powder. They also have Simmons type handeling on trails due to the triple carbide design. Alot of the APEX guys who ride Cooke Cty here in MT have switched to the PPDs' and prefer themto the stockers. I'll never buy another brand of ski after a season on them.

Here's the thread where I posted pictures prior to installing them on my SCRX-1mtn. http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php? ... c&start=15

Powderlite, are you talking about the Avid drivers are timed right and last longer? And when you talking about Larger jackshaft and bearings and inner sheave are talking about the stock ones or aftermarket parts and are they needed?

Ordered the Turbo and KMOD rear skid. Still thinking about the skis, between Simmons(wide or standard ?) and PPD X-MT.

Your going to love it man! Have a good year with that thing, the power is gonna surprize you. Anyway, i ran the standard simmons and love em, tim has the gen 2 skis and likes them as well but when the snow firms up a little the gen 1 work better and make it easier to lay it over.

Is your sled in or is there another week or so.

Yeah I think so, can't wait! yeah I figured the same thing on the Gen II's.

another week or so. Do you think I should have the Eagle River Dealer install the turbo kit, they are going to be the MCexpress dealer?

Are you going to play ball overseas?
