DOOS entire cluthing is so different in design....the heat made on DOOS is soo much hotter then yammies.....even with adding windage plates,you wont be anywhere near as hot as doos are....you will never see a DOO with similar HP motor have belts last as long as same HP yammie..NEVER!
HOWEVER....If you're not a radar/lake runner..dont waist your money on the plates....these simple reduce the "FAN EFFECT" of the secondary....it takes HP to move that "FAN" ....so unless your running more hi speeds,these probably are a waist of money....
I know we were putting these on our OLD DOOS in mid 80s,back when NO STOCK Sleds came with them...back then FAST INC. used to sell them as a performance add on for formula skidoos..and we all learned way back when the HP robbing effects of the WEBS within the secondary.
