I can get the gas tank off in about 10 minutes, but it takes forever to drain it out of the little fuel port.

Any tips on draining the fuel easier/faster? Been a horribly warm winter here in central Sask and I am not risking another set of plugs so I'm draining this old gas I have in the Phazer. thanks for any ideas.

Could you use a siphon? CT usually has some cheap ones. Or better yet get a primer bulb from and outboard and some hose.

Ah, taking it off. I found a couple mouse droppings so better take a good look underneath everything anyway! Damn rodents!

I'd put small jumper wires on the relay or right to the fuel pump itself. Take the pressure line off the pump and utilize the fuel pump to empty the tank for me. The phazer tank looks pretty easy to siphon though, no filler neck to thread hose down.

Just leaned it up on a ladder and let the fuel pour out into a jerry can (out of the vent at the top/front of the tank) and walked away from it. Good news is no mouse!

yup twice already, both times it was old gas. A bunch of other guys here have had it foul plugs too.

Wow. That's crazy. Usually premium doesn't go bad but I know here in mb prem has no ethanol in it. Reg unleaded now days you have to use within 3-6months and def don't store anything without stabilizer in it. Honestly, I believe in that stuff even for shorter time frames. Premium and Reg unleaded. Snowblower, chain saws, wood splitter, toys ect ect I've never once ever had to pull or turn over more than a couple 3-4 times to get running. Running like I just shut it off the day before. Maybe grab a jug of that and try it Mike. Also, I will say the PC you have, if not set up right will def quench those plugs and the repercussions of starting it up and not letting it get to full running temp and shutting off will cause that. Fellow ATV riders with reg fouling plug issues all have the PC. Both my cousins with xp850's I mainly ride with and I can tell YA it's annoying. (Note they have hmf fuel controllers but same idea) may be something to look at bud :)

I had that issue the first year I had my sled. Stored it with fuel in it all summer with stabilizer and wouldn't start in the fall. Now I just make sure it's a part tank in the spring and dilute it with fresh premium when I go to start it.
