I bought some duce bars for my 09 nytro to help combat darting. After riding 150 miles on wed, here are my conclusions:
1. The duce bars on the stock skis do not dart (at all)
2. Steering effort is increased vs 6" shapers
3. On tight twisty trails they do push (sometimes) 6" shapers did not push.
4. I think I am going back to the single runners and just deal with the darting/
5. I think a non aggressive rider would love the duce bars (if they dont mind the effort)
6. How would I like the woodys slim jims???? look like they might bight better than the duce with less effort???

shim the rear off the ski rubbers 3/16 to 1/4" and set the total toe to 1/2" out then give us another comparison. I prefer a predictable push over the darting.

I recently tried a set of slim jims on my 09 shorty. They worked just fine for me. Steering effort is increased but its not that bad. Cranked up my front track shock about 3/4". That helped a ton.
Im fine with it the way it is.

SnowTracker's! No shim's, no increase in steering effort, no tracking, they wear very well and they bite.
There is a pair of brand new ones on EBay now in Yamaha snowmobile parts. $140 something.
