Burnt the stock sliders out in 300 miles last year. Brand new leftover 13XTX setup with looser than factory track tension. Put duponts on for this year with the same track tension and hardly any slider wear in 300 more miles with some of that in hardpack and marginal conditions. The sled rolls much easier and the track clips remain cool. I didn't even do the larger wheels yet. I would recommend them to everyone. Nothing worse than slider worries when you are out riding!!!
That's about right you could probably have rode another 500 miles and they wouldn't have worn any more though. Once they get down to a certain point they seem to stop and then last for quite a while. In the process of running mine out again but in the last 200 miles there's been no measurable difference. They're down to a little over a 1/8" almost 3/16" from the wear line. 1400 kms on this set. Set before was supposed to have 4,000 kms on them so we'll see how far we get with these.
