I have been running the predator 1.25" clipped every third for a couple years now. Camoplast is now only making the fully clipped track.

I don't know what it is but the fully clipped version has never held up for me. First time I tried one two years ago it lasted about 2,000 miles. This season I tired running one again because I didn't have a choice. It failed before 2,000 miles. The clipped every third usually gets me 4-5,000 miles.

Yes I ride the heck out of my sled and no I am not studded. I expect to go through tracks quicker than most but I can't except 2,000 miles a track as I would be dumping $1500 in tracks a season.

I am just looking for a track similar to the predator clipped every third. Ripsaw is a pretty soft track and I don't want to go with it for performance reasons, but not sure if I have another choice. Any suggestions?

Maybe you should try a kimpex track and see how they hold up. They dont get much press, I ahave never seen one even but be nice to know if they are solid.

Other then that your at a cobra and I dont think they will beat a predator.

I just read on here not too long ago that the kimpex tracks didn't last very long at all. Which sucks cause it would be nice to have a few more choices for 1" and 1 1/4" tracks.

If you are looking for a 121" track have you looked at a Arctic cat 1 3/8" off a zr 900 sno pro? Those are tough tracks. I wish they made them in a 136" length. I see them on ebay once and a while for pretty cheap.

yeah someone has ten of them available right now, 15x121.1.375 for $430 and $27.50 shipping. Brand new.

I searched "sno pro track"

I run a kimpex shotgun X 1.25 track this year and very happy with the track to date but only got 400 miles on it.Got bad snow condition were i am and run in to rock and have bent 14 stud on a ride and lost 5 ( no pull through.....probably the nut that failed ) and the track did not have a scratch.

The lug are harder than the ripsaw and it is clipped every 2.....but i clipped full. The track got 2 year warranty like camoplast.Somebody told me that Kimpex as change quality since past 3 year and got much better track quality but i will have to ride it 1 full season to tell it but this track could be a option for you so check it out.
