I notice Better fule econmy over my dads stock warrior and alot more power and a better sound

The sound level is what concerns me. I have seen others on here describe it as "loud". For every gain you get by modifying your stock sled you lose something. Yamaha is smart enough to know that more airlfow would generate more horsepower. If they could have done it at acceptable sound levels they would have. If the gain of the mod is worth what you give up for the mod then go for it. For me though, I will likely not make this mod until I can hear a sled that has had the mod done run.

I know I will get flamed by people who have made tons of mods and gained performance and claim they have lost nothing. To which I will reply RIGHT NOW that you have lost a LOT of money. If it was worth it to you then it was a great mod. But to think that somehow we as owners, or aftermarket suppliers somehow know more about the sled than the OEM is inaccurate. They know all of this, they are limited by several factors in regards to what can be stock in the sled.

You sound like a real smart guy QC.

the little extra bit of intake noise that the kits make audible is not nearly close to the laughter and giddiness of yourself chuckleing inside your helmet from all that dang umph this kit unleashes
