Hello I have a 2011 Yamaha nytro I am getting a engine code of 84 TORS I thought by reading some post that it was the speed sensor so I replaced that but the code is still coming up and I have adjusted the throttle cable according to the manual and still having the code any ideas or thoughts

Start the sled and turn the bars all the way to one side and then the other. Mine was pulling the throttle ever so slightly when turned all the way left. Also are you sure you adjusted it correctly? There needs to be a good size gap, I think it was an 1/8" or better, on the side of the throttle closest to you before the top hinge part starts to push over towards the left. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks yes it does make sense and I tried that last night after talking to a dealer and no luck I have a throttle positioning sensor/ assembly coming tomorrow for it and if that don't work I will have to bring it in to get it scanned thanks for your help if there is anything else you can think of please let me know

Hey man I had the same thing don't waist money on a sensor till you ohme out the tps signal wire to the ecm
I just spliced in a new wire now it's perfect
Check the harness were it comes up by the top of the frame by the rad
