Engine Cuts Out

the tanks are epa compliant, meant to hold pressure. roll over valve should only be a problem when it gets super cold for days. that is why most never have a problem. most people stay in side when below zero temps

Had this problem on my 17, no codes, intermittent cut out. Turned out to be a leaking turbo. Replaced under warranty no problems in the 2000 miles since.

Funny, mine is a 17 and I also had a leaking turbo as well, mine was oil running down over a very hot turbo, glad we caught it in time,a bomb waiting to happen.

Got the same problem Hurricane flash 240 hp, only happens on hard pull steep/deep, as soon as I go past 3/4 throttle it is dead, kill switch dead, back off the throttle 1mm and 75% power. I can hit the rev limiter on the lake at full throttle, know what it sounds like. A stock sidewinder pulled harder on the mountain, had them side by side.
Also had problem with rollover switch, sled wouldn’t restart after roll over, put the sled on its left side and fired up right away.
Anybody figure it out yet..?

I have positively ruled out fuel quality or octane. I have been using a quality race blend and still having the issue. I don’t think the engine is knocking. I’ll be bypassing the roll over valve next week and testing. I Will also be data logging. With any luck hopefully it’s the valve or tank vent. I’ll get back to you guys after testing.

We are experiencing the same issue , falls on its face 6000 rpm. Let off a little bit and it’s right back.
I’m thinking fuel pump

I’m guessing a lot of guys IF TUNED do not have enough pump in these sleds. Fuel sloshing/starvation/fuel pumping ability ESPECIALLY under 3 gallons. Will cause cutting out issues and backfires. Even knock lights when you know you have good quality fuel.
Stock Fuel pump is suspect with tunes guys!

I know w Stage 3 PEFI said if running temps at zero or below, stock fuel pump is marginal near zero, and not sufficient below -5 degF. They say fuel pump is "wide open" on Stage 3 at zero degF. Based on experience, I would concur. To be safer, I would say need more fuel pump for higher tunes.

;)! makes sense. ALSO When that boost spikes IMO that stocker pump just can’t keep up.
