I was in the habit of running stabil and tucking the machine away for summer. I would ocassionally fog but not every season (depending on how busy I was) as it was a PITA!
I had my wifes sled blow a crankcase bearing this year - cost a fortune $$$$. Now I am paranoid about off season storage. Want to fog my 2007 Attak. Any how to w/pics out there?
Do you guys fog off season? Interested in opinions on fogging or any recommended off season storage solutions.

fog?????????
You don't have to fog a four stroke, just put stabil.
But you should do it to a 2 stroke, The gas and oil mix thins out the oil
on a 2 stroke.

Stabilize your fuel and keep your sled in a DRY & COOL well ventilated area out of direct sunlight and she'll be fine, I also use "BOUNCE" sheets under the hood/air box and other area's to keep any intruders away it works better than moth balls or anything else and smells GOOD! LOL...

They suggest to pour a tea spoon of oil into each cylinder then turn the machine over with out having the spark plugs installed. Gives the cylinder walls a nice coating of oil. I have done it the last two seasons and will again this year when my season ends.

I fog mine every year.
Stabilize the fuel and start the machine up to circulate the fuel throughout the fuel system. Shut the machine off and remove what's necessary to get the airbox lid off. Start the machine again and spray the fogging oil into the intakes of each carb/injector. I just spray quickly moving back and forth between all of them. While doing this, you'll want to blip the throttle to open up the venturis and keep the sled from dying. Eventually it will stall from the fogging oil. Done!
Once the machine is properly fogged, change the engine oil from last season riding.

I seafoam the gas, run the sled until the light comes on (yellow light). let if cool down, add stabil to the fuel, run it for a while and shut it down. I change the oil and filter and then put some fogging oil straight in the cylinders.

Both Seafoam & Stabil? I thought that Seafoam alone would stabilize the gas? If both are better, why the wait between adding them to the fuel?
