Can anyone help me out? For some reason when riding if I get into the throttle hard the engine light comes on and it loses power, once I stop and it idles for a minute or two the light goes off and it runs find again. Any help would be appreciated

Hi thanks for the reply, the temp is a little warm out, around 30°. Im guessing you mean outside temp. Also I got numbers from boondocker for starting numbers on the boondocker efi box and set fueling there as a starting point.

Im new to the 4stroke turbos so im trying to get as much knowledge as I can on them, I am familiar with mechanics and engines, just not the smaller ones like these, I kind of assume there basically the same for the most part.

Any codes? AFR number when it happens? Which boondocker box are you using - the older one with pressure solenoid or the newer style ada box? EBC or not?

I didnt find any codes, AFR numbers where around 11-13. And I believe I have the older box

it sounds just like tors to me should be like code 82 ( I think ) flashing in the dash when it comes on adjust your throttle free play you can bypass it by cross connecting it under the hood but that is not safe to leave it that way bypass to check it and if that is your problem adjust the free plan in the throttle cable and it should stop.

The light wasnt on long enough for me to catch the code, by time I realized it was on and took me a few to remember to look for the code, by the time I did it was off. I will give that a shot and see what I come up with, thank you for the help

Have you checked for any stored codes in the system?
